BIOS Issues & Linux Problems
Overall really liked the board, but the MediaTek WiFi card and BIOS issues were a huge disappointment. Picked up the X870E Aorus Pro X3D which uses the Qualcomm QCNCM865 which has Linux drivers as of Kernel 6.10.
Pros: Feature set is great, design looks good, well thought out connectors, and lots of NVME
Cons: Uses MediaTek MT7927 which has 0 Linux compatibility as of February 2026. Would not take BIOS updates on arrival and forced to return board.
