GIGABYTE B760M GAMING PLUS WIFI DDR4 LGA 1700 Intel B760 M-ATX Motherboard with DDR4, 2* M.2, PCIe 4.0, Front USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, WiFi 6 GbE LAN, Q-Flash Plus, PCIe EZ-Latch
Great board for a budget build
Overall I'm very satisficed with this board. Paired it with an I5-12600KF and it works flawlessly choose this because I already had DDR4 ram and saved $$$ as a result. The EZ-Latch needs some work as it broke easily. Luckily I hate tower configs, so my GPU isn't hanging in mid-air sagging and stressing the slot. At least it is easy to remove the latch mechanism. The NVMe latch can be tricky. Only pull up on the very top piece, below that there is piece that is a half-circle, that holds the SSD down. You have to pull the center plug, rotate the half circle out of the way (hold the loop and rotate) so the ssd seats firmly down, then rotate back again so the half-circle is over the edge of the ssd and holding it down. Then re-insert the plug. Done. The only issue I had was completely a "the nut behind the switch" scenario. I always test bench new stuff before committing it to a case. I slapped stuff together, psu, board, cpu, cooler, gpu, ram and begin testing. Boots fine first time, then refused to boot again with different debug lights each time???? As I'm thinking, I noticed the board sort of balancing on one point. I investigate and discover that I had overtightened the cpu cooler, (Spirit 120SE), and it was causing the board to deform and flex. So I loosened the cooler until the board laid flat again, That solved the boot problem and haven't had a single issue with the board since. I would definitely recommend this board for a good budget daily driver/mid-range gaming machine.
Pros: Good build quality I've grown to expect after 30 years of buying Gigabyte boards Allows some tweaking of settings though not an OC board I like the NVMe mounting system Recognized my ram and applied the XMP setting without my having to do anything
Cons: A little cramped, but it's a micro-atx, what did I expect? heatsinks could be a little more robust, but it is a budget board after all The EZ-Latch for the PCIe slot broke the second time I tried to remove the GPU
GIGABYTE B760M GAMING PLUS WIFI DDR4 LGA 1700 Intel B760 M-ATX Motherboard with DDR4, 2* M.2, PCIe 4.0, Front USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, WiFi 6 GbE LAN, Q-Flash Plus, PCIe EZ-Latch
Good budget board, has some nice features for the price.
Overall this is a solid budget board. For the low price it had tons of features I wanted. Pairs nicely with the 12600KF I got on a sweet Primeday deal. I've had it for about a month with no issues, but I am an experienced builder. It was difficult to figure out the M.2 plugs (You pull up on the top of it and it pops out), they could break easy it feels like but they are toolless so no screw to drop or lose. Really my only reservation is the weak VRM, but it is fine for an i5 for sure.
Pros: * Two M.2 full speed Gen4x4 *Wi-Fi built in *Front USB-C connector (rare at this price) *Good color for a white build like mine. *4 RAM slots *Q-flash BIOS update capable
Cons: Most of these are because it is a budget board, what do you expect for just over $100? *Only one PCIEx16 slot *Only a 4 phase VRM, won't be great for upgrades but should handle something like a 14700 OK *Not many rear USB ports, but has front USB3 and USB-C plus built-in Wi-Fi so all good *No M.2 heatsinks
GIGABYTE B760M GAMING PLUS WIFI DDR4 LGA 1700 Intel B760 M-ATX Motherboard with DDR4, 2* M.2, PCIe 4.0, Front USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, WiFi 6 GbE LAN, Q-Flash Plus, PCIe EZ-Latch
Great for the Price
I would recommend this for an mATX board with wifi!
Pros: Solid board, easy to setup. I'm personally a fan of the plastic M2 pegs. I like that it includes a USB-C connector for the case.
Cons: Just be careful not to install the bloatware alongside the drivers. And the IO shroud is kind of ugly but I plan on vinyl wrapping it one day.
GIGABYTE B760M GAMING PLUS WIFI DDR4 LGA 1700 Intel B760 M-ATX Motherboard with DDR4, 2* M.2, PCIe 4.0, Front USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, WiFi 6 GbE LAN, Q-Flash Plus, PCIe EZ-Latch
B760M C and 14th gen (BIOS in shipped board worked otb)
Was happy that the board arrived with an updated BIOS for 14th gen already. I know the BIOS can be updated without CPU, but sometimes that's a royal pain.
Pros: Interesting motherboard. Did you notice the two vertical m.2 slots (4 total)? They are slower slots, but a cool way to easily add a bunch of nvme drives.
Cons: Some minor squirreliness during windows install with the realtek ethernet and wifi drivers. You may want to download those ahead of time. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
GIGABYTE B760M GAMING PLUS WIFI DDR4 LGA 1700 Intel B760 M-ATX Motherboard with DDR4, 2* M.2, PCIe 4.0, Front USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, WiFi 6 GbE LAN, Q-Flash Plus, PCIe EZ-Latch
One of the better budget motherboards
It gets the job done with few bells and whistles. I used it in my first ever PC build and it worked well with no major issues. It was easy to install and setup. I paired it with a 12600kf, RX 6700XT, 32gb Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz and two 1TB SSD drives. I'm getting good results in MS Flight Simulator in 2K at medium to low settings and Ultra settings in 1080p.
Pros: Price 4x RAM slots 2x Gen 4 M.2
Cons: Fan control app is lame Doesn't have a pump header
GIGABYTE B760M GAMING PLUS WIFI DDR4 LGA 1700 Intel B760 M-ATX Motherboard with DDR4, 2* M.2, PCIe 4.0, Front USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, WiFi 6 GbE LAN, Q-Flash Plus, PCIe EZ-Latch
All Working, Documentation lacking
Board as advertized, documentation is very important.
Cons: Didn't come with any Manuals in box. Had to go online to find .pdf manual in order to assemble correctly (e.g. RAM in Dual Channel mode slots). Guessing mobo sets Dual mode automatically when installed in correct slots? Manual doesn't break down most of the Bios settings. Later went to Gigabyte website see a separate Bios Guide. Form inside also listed it was DDR4 board though my model is DDR5.

Great Motherboard, easy to install. Running with no problems.
I recommend it all the way.
Pros: So far everything is pros...Haven't found a con really. Working awesomely fine.
Cons: None so far.
