Good motherboard, works as expected

Great motherboard. If you're looking for a white motherboard and only need one PCI-E x16 slot, then this should fit your needs!

Pros: - Looks great, particularly in an otherwise-white PC - Features work as specified

Cons: - I find the latches, particularly for the PCI-E slot, a bit tricky to secure. I don't have 100% confidence that my GPU is seated completely, even though I've pushed it in and secured it as specified. I honestly wish the M.2 slot just used a normal screw as well

Ghost in the machine?

Don't do it. The board has massive discounts from time to time but you will have to buy so much other stuff to make everything work you will end up spending more then if you had bought a better board. The reviews on the internet on this board are all in the pocket of Gigabyte or they really didn't use the board. I am 51 and have been a salaried computer technician since 1995. Trust me its a nightmare board with horrible drivers. I would rather install a wincom modem in a 1995 Pacard Bell than work with this C*R*A*P again.

Pros: -Good VRM cooling? 51C all all time but maybe the sensor is stuck?

Cons: -Socked needed a corrective contact Frame to get decent temps on the 9950x-3D. -Sound chip on this board is a joke, so much noise you can't use headphones or a Mic. No amount of 3rd party audio programs could compensate for it. Bluetooth Drops constantly so you have to use a USB all in one solution for sound or buy a Sound blaster card. Than again I haven't really tested the USB it might be trash. I have 1.3Gb speed internet and the wifi will not sustain .200mb speed in the same small bedroom. My 5950x 550 board does 900 without fail its also a 6E chip. All the subsystems on this board are garbage lowest of the low chips. Gigabyte software is a rootkit that is installed automatically when you first power it up. You have to turn off this in the bios but once its installed, if you remove it,

Most amazing motherboard Ive ever had!

By far the most beautiful motherboard Ive ever owned. When I purchased it, I had no idea that it was gonna have its own RGB light on the bottom there its just so subtle but perfect. This motherboard has all of the bells and whistles and if youre skeptical to pay extra for a motherboard dont this one is so good. B850 micro atx wifi 6e ice! W.

Solid Unit

This is a good motherboard. Everything came together smoothly.

Pros: - Lots of convenient features like spring latched M.2 heat sink, snap-in WiFi antennae - Chipset worked out of the box on ubuntu and relatively easy updating for Windows 11 - No Clearance when using Arctic Freezer III AIO - Aesthetically pleasing, plenty of aRGB headers

Cons: - It would have been nice if it came with a usb stick for the windows drivers. You will need to install the drivers via ethernet or copy them from your own USB stick as WiFi did not work out of the box

Works great, No problems

Very statisfied so far. I would recommend it as one of the best mid price mATX motherboards.

Pros: Large heatsinks. Heatsink cover for both NVMe drives. Easy tool free install of NVMe drives Large number of USB ports. 1 type C on back plus 1 type C internal. Supports 9800x3D post without bios update (as should all B850 boards) Stable with ram in normal or Expo timings, 32 GB of G.Skill Flare 6000 CL 32. Stable with benchmarks run so far. At first it did not post. But this was quickly fixed with a simple cmos clear via on board jumper.

Cons: Only supports 2 M.2 drives, one Gen 5 the other Gen 4. Wifi 6E only no Wifi 7 No Bios or Bios update manual in online documents, had to use YouTube videos, etc.. Advanced bios settings somewhat confusing but same as other Gigabyte boards. Bios update worked fine but must be on a USB stick formated with FAT32. exFAT format (on larger USB sticks) will not work with Qflash utility.

Will not post XMP even if memory on verified list

great looking board but I always have issues with Gigabytes service. I only bought Gigabyte for the appearance of the board (all white).

Pros: -love the look and layout of the board

Cons: -will not post using xmp profiles at all. I have two different sets of claimed verified ram on the approved list and neither will boot if you change to xmp (have to reset bios each time). I am on the latest bios also. Contacted Gigabyte Support a week ago and no response. Trying to resolve before I just end up sending back during return window as computer is built.
