GIGABYTE AERO GeForce RTX 5070 12GB

Good GPU, no problems so far

Overall, I think this is a great mid-range gpu and I'm very happy with my purchase so far. The only downside is the amount of VRAM, which hasn't been an issue for me so far.

Pros: It works seamlessly, and I had no issues so far. I'm getting high fps in my games (1080p ultra settings) and temps remain around 60-65 degrees Celsius under heavy loads which is great.

Cons: - It was somewhat hard to install it on my pc case as the screw holes didn't quite match the case's back panel, I'm not sure if it's the case, the gpu, or just the combination of the two that caused the problem. - 12 GB of VRAM might be limiting in the future especially for 1440p gaming.

Great at MSRP

Nice no frills card that delivers solid FPS at 1080p. Good value at MSRP. Upgraded from an RTX 4060 8GB with noticeable improvements.

Pros: - Fast card @ 1080p for e-sports titles - Scored it at MSRP! (thanks NewEgg) - Reliable software support from nVidia

Cons: - Uses new 12V-2x6, need a recent PSU with this connector or you have to use a bulky adapter

Pleasantly Surprised

I was able to buy this card from Newegg at MSRP. I was upgrading from a Radeon 5700xt 8gb. I didnt do a lot of research in terms of what this version had or didnt have compared to other brands because this one popped up for sale randomly while I was searching the Newegg website, so I bought without hesitation. It has no rgb lighting, not even white lights for the GIGABYTE or GEFORCE RTX logos which is a little surprising. This version is meant for a stealth build. Im not complaining. I have so many lights in my build already. Performance has been pretty good. Ive run Avowed, Robocop: Rogue City, Starfield, Dragon Age: The Vielguard, and more all at native 1440p and have been on average 60-165fps on high settings. Ive only had it installed for a day so I havent tried DLSS and frame generation. It works for the games that I play and thats what matters to me. It stays cool, doesnt ramp up excessively, and it functions flawlessly for my needs.

Pros: Small form factor, quiet, power efficient, stays cool

Cons: Not a con but its more for a non-rgb build
