Inherit the product design spirit of GIGABYTE Ultra Durable, thus introducing a variety of high-quality materials and designs. Ultra Durable combines high-quality main Japanese capacitors, enhanced thermal solution, 120mm smart hydraulic bearing (HYB) fan, and six circuit protection designs. It provides consumers with a high-quality and stable power supply, and can be used for a long time.
The main capacitors are high quality Japanese capacitors, to produce the efficient performance and to ensure the longer reliability. The life of the main capacitor is over 20 years (Environment 25°C) This photo is for reference only
Compared with the standard thermal solution, we have enlarged the heatsink by about 200% or more, and optimized the airflow. The heat dissipation performance is increased by more than 10%, thus prolonging the service life of the components. This photo is for reference only
The fan speed is adjusted according to the automatic power detection and stops when the system is idle or under low load (less than 20% load). The hydraulic bearing fan provides longer and more stable life time. The life of the Hydraulic Bearing fan is more than 4 years
In order to make sure the entire computer system to operate stably under any conditions, we not only added protection designs such as OCP, OTP, OVP, OPP, UVP and SCP, but also ensured the stable operation of your system through the safety certification of various countries.

Dead On Arrival
Do not get this. If it is free, don't consider it a discount... you'll still need to buy a power supply.
Cons: Installed everything and found it doesn't work at all. If you get this free gift, plug it up and see if the fan will spin before wasting your time. Also, it doesn't have 2 dedicated motherboard 8 pin connectors, it has 1 that is daisy chained.

Fake gift! Don't buy it doesn't works and useless product of Gigabyte
Don't waste your time. Look for another options
Pros: I can't claim anything because it was a gift from Newegg when buying another item.
Cons: Newly opened and doesn't work. I had to buy another power supply. I paid for the shipping out of USA for nothing

Great PSU! Highly recommend!
Its very good! I highly recommend it!
Pros: I used this in my first PC build and it worked like a hot knife on butter, very smooth! It has a very good size with a good amount of power cords. I like that its fully modular too!
Cons: None!

Bought two, both no good
Do not buy. I bought one, my first fully modular kilowatt supply. It didn't work. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Goose eggs. Nothing powered up. Then tested with an number of different, known working motherboards. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Goose eggs. Okay, "Mebbe it's just that PSU?" I said to myself. So, I ordered a second one (you can always use good PSUs and this would be a decent test.) As before, tested with an number of different, known working motherboards. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Goose eggs. So, two bad PSUs out of two. They're being returned, I'll be buying from a different manufacturer. A waste of my time.
Pros: The Gigabyte name and the price. It looks good, too.
Cons: 1 - none of the cables were labelled. 2 - neither of the two I bought worked.

Cheap Cables; iffy cable selection; and Dead on Arrival
I ordered the PSU when it was on sale, a shade under $190 CDN. I purchased it based on price, instead of based on reputation. I KNEW BETTER, but ignored what I already knew. That was entirely on me. As it so happened, the PSU was shipped in the shrink DOA to me. So of course my opinion of the product is poor based on that alone. But I ask you to ignore that, and instead pretend the version I got was NOT DOA. Treat this instead of a review of a WORKING PSU. My complaint about this PSU extends far beyond its failure to work. The cables are AWFUL AND CHEAP. These are modular budget cables on a PSU of the sort you would expect to find on the very cheapest modular PSU on the market. The only exception to that evaluation is the included 12VHPWR cable, which is **separately packaged**, properly sleeved, and looks like it came from an entirely different cable bundle. At least that one is flexible and sleeved in black mesh; it's what you would reasonably expect to see on every single cable in this PSU. Except it's not; it's the only one. I got the PSU replaced via RMA but in the interim, I bought a competing product by EVGA for ~$10 more. That other PSU feels like a premium product, comes with properly sleeved cables, and provides alternative cables to power the CPU and five cables to power PCI E cards. It provided everything this PSU should have provided -- and failed to. In short, this is a poor, substandard product and would remain a poor, substandard product if it was $100 cheaper than its current list price of $265 CDN. There are other PSUs which are FAR better than this one in every possible way: ○ reliability; ○ warranty; ○ impression and premium feel; ○ cable selection; ○ cable sleeving; ○ cable quality; and ○ modular socket output selection. This product fails to deliver on EVERY SINGLE CHECKBOX on that list. Every. Single. One. There are other PSUs more deserving of your money that Newegg sells. Buy one of those other power supplies - not this one. **Not Recommende
Pros: - When it works, it supplies power. - 12VHPWR cable is sleeved and looks like it belongs on a power supply of this expense
Cons: - Cables, other than the 12VHPWR, have a flat plastic, relatively inflexible sleeving and profile. These are BUDGET cables on a non-budget product - cable options, even on the cables that are provided, are poor on the modular PSU - does not fell like a quality product - as it turned out, it didn't perform like one either. PSU was DOA

Not silent
I would not buy this again and look forward to replacing it in the future.
Pros: Nice that it has the modern 16 pin cable for newer graphics cards.
Cons: Horrible coil whine! I thought maybe it would go away after breaking in but it seems like its here to stay.

More Red Flags Than a Hot Mess
I really wanted to like this. My build was either Corsair or Gigabyte parts because I felt Gigabytes Motherboards have come a very long way. The native 12+4 was the seller for my GPU. Unit looked solid, had the fresh electronic smell. Cables fit into the unit well and snug. The board was a whole different story. Mainboard power did not want to snap in. First red flag. This guy did not want to snap in. The plastic catch was not feeling really quality either, like it could break easily. The CPU power was an issue too. Pro, one cable going up. Con, that loop through the dual connections made the system not look clean. I hooked it up, eventually snapped the mainboard into place and fired it up. Worked well at first. Unfortunately, it did not like the configurations my ram and the system seized after 5 minutes. If you want overclocked RAM, this psu is not for you. I defaulted settings to my ram (5600 down to 4800) and it posted and booted again. During my gameplay session I could hear this intermittent whine. I did not like it, as once you hear it, you cannot unhear it. The wife was not appreciative of it either. I played my session and made the decision to return. I cant put my trust in the psu to keep my build effective or safe. Too many stories of burning GPU ends. I really wanted to like this. My Board, cpu cooler and GPU are all Aorus, so I figure the psu would be quality too. Maybe in a few more years when they get that experience under their belt.
Pros: Felt solid, flat cables, 12+4 cable was quality
Cons: Loud whine Clips did to plug in motherboard did not feel quality. CPU ribbon questionable, bad loop.
