GIGABYTE B850 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 AMD AM5 LGA 1718 Motherboard, ATX, DDR5, 3x M.2, PCIe 5.0, USB-C, WIFI7, 2.5GbE LAN, EZ-Latch
Fantastic Motherboard!
Highly recommend!
Pros: Easy to install and set up. M.2 slots come with preinstalled thermals pads. PCIE 5 is awesome!

Fulfilled a strong build.
Board for Gamers. There are other boards to do other work, this board is for gaming.
Pros: Power phase delivery as noted in specs. Bandwidth management for ease of gaming with premium parts.
Cons: Did not come with cooler hardware. WIFI 7 antenna appears cheaply made compared to prev gen WIFI 6 adapters.

Great motherboard
The real problem was that New Egg gave a stick of ddr5 6000 to go with it. So, I bought another one to go with it. This mb doesn't support higher than 5200. I feel like I was conned by a free gift that was not useful at all, into buying something not useful.
Pros: Installation was a breeze.
Cons: Accepting 6k ram.

Why pay more for a name?
All and all, id buy it again, and again, and again. No point in buying a bigger name. Ive tried em all and Gigabyte is going to forever be my goto board now. Why buy anything else just for a name?
Pros: Doesn't share power channels Solid connections, everything fits snug Easy diagnosis Easy Bios updates Easy to use Bios
Cons: There's only one argb header on the top of the board. The rest are on the bottom, might need extensions if you want all your argb seperate. The panel on the back is a little big and interfered with the fans on a Thermaltake Phantom Spirit 120 SE, but that's only if you want a pull system instead of push, which isn't ideal but it's a choice to think about if you're planning on using argb ram. Cause it'll cover the ram or the back panel.

Perfect balance of performance to price
Great Value Lots of connections Nice design Works well EZ connection system is great
Pros: I bought this motherboard as an upgrade from the Gigabyte Aorus Elite Wifi x570 for AM4. The B850 for AM5 is a much nicer board with some nice features. The EZ latch system is a real plus making the installation of SSDs and GPUs so much easier. The offset latch button for the GPU is a godsend. No more squeezing your hand between the GPU and air cooler to unlatch the GPU to take it out. The board is has a clean look with lots a connections and everything you need.
Cons: The only two cons are the fault code LEDs are so close together that from a slight distance it is hard to tell which item is faulting in your system. A code would have made it much easier to diagnose issue. The second might be more of an AM5 issue but I cannot get the default EXPO working on my ram when using the full four slots. I had not issues with this on the AM4 X570 board. This might be because AM5 is more picky but people had this issue on AM4 also so I am not sure if this is an AM5 issue or a B series issue.

Very happy with this motherboard! Here are all the pros! and cons!
Overall a solid MOBO, haven't encountered any issues with it. I'm very happy with it, just wish it had more USB 3 ports and that the Gigabyte driver software was better.
Pros: - Supports THREE M2 SSDs and has a very slick heatsink that covers them and that has a thermal pad (note that if also comes with some foam cubes that you should put under the SSD to prevent bending, I didnt realize that at first and had to take stuff out to place them) - No screws needed to install the M2 SSDs! it has a little thing you slide to lock it in place. - Very easy to to update the BIOS. I downloaded the BIOS update to a USB then connected it to the USB port that says BIOS and selected Q-flash from the BIOS. - It comes with WIFI - It has a little additional button that makes it pretty easy to eject the GPU in case you can't reach the usual thing you press to eject it. - GIGABYTE has software called Gigabyte Control Center that let's you do stuff like control the fan speed curves
Cons: - Wish it had more USB 3.0 ports. My previous MOBO had 1 more USB 3 port and it was the same price range. - Wish the BIOS USB port would use one of the UBS 2 ports that I dont use instead of the USB 3 ports that I reserve for my devices. GIGABYTE CONTROL CENTER: - The Gigabyte Control Center app is not good at detecting the versions of some of the drivers I have. Even after I install a driver through it, it still displays the currently installed driver version as either "0.0.0.0" or "N/A" for some like the Realtek Bluetooth driver. - Wish there were more descriptions of what each suggested driver/download is. For example, it suggests I install something called "cFosSpeed" but doesn't say what it is. - This is a small annoyance, but I wish the Gigabyte Control Center didn't try to get you t

Decent mobo
Unlike x870 doesn't share pcie lines with m.2, doesn't have unnecessary rgb which is great, you don't pay for what you don't need. I'd like to have vrm 80A vs 60A but not 100% sure 9800x3d really needs it. Anyway it's a great price with rebate

One of the best overall B850 boards out there
It's a good mid range board. The main PCIe x16 and M.2 slots having 5.0 support is very nice for the future if those speeds ever become necessary. It has plenty of fan headers, a USB C 3.2 Gen2x2 header, and support for even more type A USB 3 slots. The Bios is rather easy to navigate and the board played nice with my RAM.I only have 2 SSDs right now but the 3 slots allows for some flexibility for me in the future. Hopefully I can get my main PCIe slot to run at the proper bus speed otherwise it may be a return
Pros: -Good PCIe lane support. I was contemplating between X870 and B850 boards but the X870s had dumb PCIe lane configurations that took bandwidth away from the main x16 slot or from one of the M.2 slots. -Good rear panel I/O -Great VRM Cooling -Easy to build in Price is great with the rebate in mind.
Cons: -An extra USB C port on the motherboard would have been nice in stead of all the USB 2.0 ports. -EDIT: t is stated that the PCIEx16 slot runs at x16 5.0, yet my 7800xt only registers at x8 4.0. I've tried everything trying to get it to run at x16 4.0 bus speeds which is what it is capable of and what my old B550 board would run it at.
