GIGABYTE X870E AERO X3D WOOD AMD AM5 LGA 1718 Motherboard, ATX, Supports AMD Ryzen 9000/8000/7000 Series Processors, DDR5, 16+2+2 Total Power Phase, 4x M.2, PCIe 5.0, USB4 Type-C, WIFI7, Dual 5 GbE LA
Beautiful motherboard
I absolutely love the Gigabyte AERO X3D WOOD motherboard. The wood aesthetic makes it stand out from most other motherboards, and I think it looks fantastic. I also really appreciate that Gigabyte left off the RGB lighting. RGB has become pretty cliché in PC builds, so the clean, understated look is a refreshing change. The connectivity is another major highlight. Having **two 5GbE Ethernet ports** is fantastic, and there are plenty of USB ports for all of my peripherals and devices. The built-in **Wi-Fi and Bluetooth** are also great additions and make the motherboard feel very complete. Overall, this is a beautiful, feature-packed motherboard that combines a unique design with excellent connectivity. Im very happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something different from the typical gaming motherboard.

Fantastic Board
This motherboard is fantastic. I have a slight addiction to trying out different motherboards every few months on all my builds, so when I bought this one, I expected to just use it for a little bit and then move on. Thats not how it has worked out. The first thing I noticed was how much cooler my 9850x3d ran in it compared to the MSI carbon I was using before. It also performed better in cinebench. Booting up is extremely fast, and it doesnt hurt that this thing has such a unique look. Im keeping this one installed for a long time.
Pros: Attractiveness Functionality Efficiency Cooling Speed

Probably wouldn't get again
No. This is the worst build I've done since 2004. Really a giant pain that took so many hours, these things have gotten so much worse in 22 years. My best suggestion to Corsair would be to have the engineers who design their products actually use them multiple times so they understand how stuff actually works instead of how it looks like they will work on paper.
Pros: Good size, you can fit a lot in it, lots of airflow
Cons: Arrived missing the HDD trays. Ordered those from Am4z0n because New Egg can't get them to me fast enough. Don't recommend to use with Gigabyte motherboard, the video card ends up so close to the bottom that the fans on the video card are fighting with the fan on the power supply and both fans are fighting the power supply cage which is effectively a baffle...so it's not really cooling NEARLY as much as it should. About half the cables are unlabeled (front panel connection, SATA cord, another mystery cord that turned out to be the front USB connection to the FU3C_20G port. The back fan cable did not come close to the actual fan connection on the motherboard, it was way too short and just didn't reach at all, I can't use it. The manual (yes I read the manual) is pretty useless, doesn't labe

Great WOOD theme motherboard with solid VRM thermals
Bought this Gigabyte X870E Aero X3D Wood mostly for the silver+wood aesthetic. It looks even better in a finished build. The motherboard itself felt heavy and premium. Nice VRM temp, ranging from mid/high 40s to 53°C during OCCT stress tests using Ryzen 9 9900X (Arctic VRM fan helped a bit too). The UEFI BIOS features a beautiful AERO Wood theme which is a nice touch. The built-in LED color is fixed to warm white but I don't mind since I think it fits perfectly with this motherboard. To be honest, I cant imagine using rainbow color with a design like this anyway lol. Note that the motherboard's LED looks a bit yellowish in pictures, but in real life, it looks a bit more like an orangish yellow or warm white color. Highly recommended if you want a premium, elegant looking wood theme motherboard and aren't too crazy about extreme overclocking.
Pros: -WOOD -Premium built quality -Metal backplate -Not real wood
Cons: -The built-in LED color is fixed to a warm white and cannot be changed. You can turn the LED off though. -Not real wood
