Definitely a worthy upgrade
This was already an excellent choice, but on sale, it's pretty much a no-brainer. One of those upgrades that I won't be changing for a very long time.
Pros: - Blacks are really deep. Contrast is amazing. Blend in with the bezels too, making it look even cleaner. - Bought cause I saw it gets brighter than other OLEDs, which I definitely appreciate. - 280 Hz is more than I'll need for the games I play.

Pros: Looks good easy set up no problems like greybanding in all that ,which is what I was worried about .

If some grey DSE and banding won't bother you, then this is as good as it gets for 1440p displays for gaming. If you're always in a well lit room and don't care about HDR (half the games out there implement it poorly anyways), then probably better off with an IPS and save your money - depending which display issues and compromises bother you more.
Pros: Don't bother with the glossy version, I have them side by side and this is borderline semi glossy with an extremely fine and well done matte, the grain is unnoticeable at normal viewing distance vs the glossy (I've never thought this about another matte screen in 20 years), best I've ever seen. The glossy version has not improved glare or reflections at all contrary to their marketing campaign, compared to cheap glossy monitors from a decade+ ago it reflects the same with extreme glare at any little bit of light in the room even if from behind the display. It's really bad with basically 0 benefit over the matte version - they look 99% the same unless you love the glass glare look when light hits a glossy screen and seeing yourself in the mirror. Avoid the Asus models, not only is their fir
Cons: -Laughably short cables for everything, the one area Asus does better. The cable from the monitor into the power brick does not reach the floor by a few inches requiring me to have it on my desk, I have never seen this before in any tech. Note I have a slightly taller desk than average, so it may just perfectly reach the floor for many. They include a pointless anti static foil cover packaging for the screen, but can't afford to give us normal length cables lol. -Dumbest pixel cleaning setup you will find on an OLED from any brand. It will not run until the monitor is in standby for a full hour even though it only takes 2-3 minutes, when it does run it flashes a bright green light while pixel cleaning is running until it's done - you can't adjust either of these options in the OSD which is

It's an amazing monitor!
Overall if you are a gambling man I would get this monitor, I love it. Im a photographer so the amazing colors help out a lot. Do your research obviously before putting in this much money in but for me it was worth it.
Pros: - The brightness is just as good as my old IPS, which is what I was looking for. - The colors are amazing and the whites arnt too "blue" as some others have mentioned. - Contrast is also amazing, duh, it's a oled.
Cons: - There is banding, but im pretty sure I got lucky with my panel because I dont notice it in everyday use, I really need to look hard and I still barely see it. As seen in the photo, it's kind of funny though because the photo makes it look so much worse 😅. - There was this weird smudge in the middle of the screen, almost like a finger print. I had to update the firmware to do a pixel refresh before the 4 hour mark but after the pixel refresh it was gone. - There is VRR flicker, which sucks but I dont run into it often since I dont play many games my PC can handle. - I wish the matte coding wasn't so strong. My old IPS basically had the same amount of matte coding but I recently tried the MSI MAG 274QPF X30MV which had a perfect mix of matte coding and glossy. - The text isnt as sharp as m

Pleasantly surprised
I love the build and look of this monitor really clean looking, theres barely any banding issues. The colors and blacks are amazing really a step up from my lg ips and the matte coating doesnt bother me🙌

Amazing!
Just buy it if your on the fence about getting an OLED or the semi gloss coating I promise this thing freaking rocks. I feel like a lot of reviews blow any small issue out of proportion and seeing this thing in person just makes them seem silly. All in all for me 10/10.
Pros: Great Image quality Brightness is insane for an OLED Great feature set and OLED care options Best true HDR display I've tried Matte coating isn't even close to full matte its really a semi gloss and its great, seen both image quality from glossy and this semi gloss and I really cant tell the difference. Also this semi gloss coating has some good advantages over the true gloss black. Text clarity is also just fine
Cons: Did have minor and I mean MINOR grey banding BUT the banding went away after a few hours of HDR video and gaming use along with 2 pixel cleans. Been flawless since.

Great but slight gray banding
I would try to purchase this on sale. It has great blacks of course, WOLED is better for my lighter room. The gray banding isnt that bad for me.
Pros: The base and stand seem very sturdy for a modern monitor. 90 degree turning is nice, also raise/lower and tilt/swivel. Its very snappy and has good colors to my untrained eyes.
Cons: Upon first turning on the monitor there was visible black vertical lines. These went away after one pixel refresh. There is only slight gray banding now on an entirely dark gray image. Not noticeable in games or videos really.

Amazing, in my eyes as my first OLED.. but read other people's experiences before buying..
I would recommend this product to most people but only if you're sure you want to go down this path. Once you see these displays and compare them next to a non OLED it almost feels like night and day. However, you have to also understand the caveats of buying into an ever changing technology. Display lottery, VRR flicker and Windows text rendering/fringing... All of these things are very real. You have to decide on whether to jump in right now or wait. I decided to jump in right now. With that, I consider this display almost there in terms of perfect in my eyes, but the technology still needs to mature and prices DO need to fall a bit more in order to sell it to more people.
Pros: The brightness on these WOLEDs is so crazy... even in a bright room I still feel like I get flash banged on occasion but tandem panel that's in here doesn't get washed out or feel dull ever even with those BRIGHT whites. 280Hz is just mad. 1440p really is the sweet spot, especially on a build like mine. (high end cpu + gpu combo) Zero perceptible ghosting for me. Of course, you still have motion blur but that's just how monitors are. Contrast was probably the biggest selling point for me. Just amazing colors all around, especially when you're playing a vibrant game or watching something. This was definitely the biggest jump for me.
Cons: The VRR flicker is very obvious in darker scenes on some games. I didn't encounter it in every game, but your mileage may vary wildly. It's not enough for me to dislike this thing, but it definitely will be a sore spot for a while. Text fringing is very apparent. I disabled cleartype to mitigate the issue a bit, but having to do that is a bit insane, don't you think? Almost like chromatic aberration, especially when I compare it to text on my 2nd IPS monitor. Banding is real. It's not as bad as compared to what I've seen other people experience on this exact same monitor, but it's a struggle knowing that there is basically a lottery on how bad the banding can be on these things. If you care about that (which I assume most do), it might not be time to pick one of these up yet. I wish they e
